WHO WE ARE

At Waypoint Christian Church, we believe “church” is more about the people than it is about a building, a program, or even the seats in which we sit. So if you’re looking for a place where you can connect with real people just like you, then we’d love to have you come and see what’s happening here.

In addition to real people, you’ll find a church that does everything we can to make the truth of the Bible relevant to life. That’s because God’s love for us is relevant and offers the best way to do life through Jesus Christ. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey or your notions about church or Christians, you’ll be warmly welcomed here and will find relationships that make a difference in your life.

Our Mission:

Is to make Disciples by loving God well and making His love well known.  We do this by winning, building, equipping and multiplying those in our sphere of influence.

Our Vision:

To invest in tomorrow's disciple makers today. We dream of nations, communities and duty stations, as well as individual lives being changed, as followers of Jesus are equipped and sent out on mission with the transforming message of the gospel.

Our Values:

  • To be a lighthouse to those far from Christ.
  • To be an aid station to the hurting.
  • To be a supply depot for the disciple-maker.

MEET OUR ELDER TEAM

Waypoint Christian Church is Pastor and Elder led.  We are so honored to introduce to you our Interim Pastor and our Elder team that pour into Waypoint every day with their faithfulness to God.

  • elder david smith

God qualifies those that He has called to perform His plans; He only seeks a willing heart. David and Christi desire to be willing participants in the progress of the gospel of Christ and to encourage others to do the same. The Smiths have been blessed with four daughters: Elise (12), Amelia (10), Adelaide (8), and Evaline (6). Their goal is to help the body of Christ to be actively involved and adherent to the scripture.

  • ELDER BART RANDOLPH

Bart has been married to his wife, Toni, for thirty-three years and they have been blessed with four children (Deaven, Christian, Noah and Naomi), two granddaughters (Tenley and Elbereth), and three daughters-in-law (Heather, Taylor, and Rhea).  Bart and Toni are humbled to be a part of the Body of Christ commissioned with spreading the gospel message. Bart's desire is to contend earnestly for the faith (Jude 3) and to watch over the souls entrusted to his care as elder, teacher, prayer ministry leader, and Life Group leader.  He considers it a blessing to call Waypoint Christian Church home, and his hope is that we all grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
