The Waypoint High School Youth Group meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm during the school year. We currently meet at the church, but if the location changes, we will do our best to let parents know. meet carter hayes
Hi! My name is Carter Hayes and I have the honor of leading the Student Ministries at Waypoint Christian Church! When I was able to join my wife Melanie here in Landstuhl in January of 2023, we quickly fell in love with Waypoint and its members. After attending for a few months and getting settled in, God opened the door to becoming involved with the Student Ministries here and made it clear that this was where He wanted me to serve, and I am so grateful that He did. I have always loved student ministry, as it was there that my relationship with Jesus growing up truly became my own. Youth group was where I learned to love God personally, love others intentionally, put my trust in His Word, and grow in discipleship.
That foundation and experience given to me by God through the Youth Pastors and many Volunteers that lead me growing up was the reason that after college I became a volunteer myself (volunteering for 4 years) and then work as a Student Ministries Director at a few different churches back in Michigan after that. It is establishing those same foundations that is the focus and goal of this ministry.
