Dave and Meredith Alexander and their four beautiful children, John, Josiah, Jacob and Ella are currently serving at Hospital Loma De Luz in Honduras. The Alexanders have an amazing testimony of God's goodness and direction. Dave was a surgeon at LRMC from 2008 to 2013. He is now a general surgeon at Loma de Luz, which provides quality medical care to the local Hondurans. Meredith is teaching at the hospital-run bilingual school. John, Josiah, Jacob, and Ella have settled into life in Honduras and are thriving. They work with the mission organization Cornerstone Foundation.

"The vision of Loma de Luz is one of a diverse community of Christian believers cooperating to provide medical care and a constant, present, on-going hearing of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of the north coast of Honduras."

    PRAYER REQUESTS

Here are three ways in which you can being praying for the Alexander family:

    1. That they would know God and be a reflection of who He is

    2. That they would be faithful ministers of the gospel to the people they serve and the missionaries around them

    3. That their children would be blessed and grow in wisdom and know the Lord and His leading as they enter adulthood

Bible Translator TO Papua, New Guinea

"I wasn't raised in a Christian home and never intended to become a missionary. But when I got to know our Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in 2012, my heart has been changed! In 2015, I started praying specifically to the Lord about His will for my life. After 3 years of praying, He had me quit my job and I was able to go to New Tribes Missions' Bible College in the UK. There I was trained for serving the Lord full-time among those that are still considered to be unreached.

Even today there are people groups who haven't heard the Gospel yet! The Lord is leading me to go to Papua New Guinea as doors are wide open and people groups are even inviting missionaries to come and share the Wordof God with them! My dream is to be involved in Bible translation. Thank you so much for your precious support in praying, encouraging, or giving! Please let me know how I may pray for you, too!"
