In God's word, Matthew 19:14 says, "'Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'”  At Waypoint, we believe it's never too early to start teaching our littlest ones the love of Jesus Christ and that they are truly precious in His sight. Each week they are taught a lesson from God's Word and then learn how that lesson applies to their life.

Hi, my name is Ellie Dermody, and I am from the beautiful bluegrass state, Kentucky. My husband and I met in Alabama, and we got married in 2020. We moved to Germany in the same month we got married! I am a pediatric and adult emergency department nurse, and I am currently working towards my doctorate in nursing in Acute Care Pediatrics. I have previous experience as a youth director as a middle school and pre-teen leader.

My husband and I have two fur babies; I love to cook, travel, read, watch Auburn football, and spend time with people! It is a true honor to serve your kiddos and teach them to know Jesus.
