MEET OUR ELDER TEAM

Waypoint Christian Church is Pastor and Elder led.  We are so honored to introduce to you our Pastor and our Elder team that pour into Waypoint every day with their faithfulness to God.

  • Pastor Byron and jenny-lyn de klerk

Pastor Byron and Jenny-Lyn de Klerk arrived in Germany in March of 2023.  Before taking over the Pastor role at Waypoint, Pastor Byron served as the pastor of Stellenbosch Baptist Church in South Africa and Jenny-Lyn taught as primary school teacher at a local school.  They have two amazing children:  Luke and Jessie.  Pastor Byron's heart is to exhort fellow believers to love God and to love others, to raise up disciples who are rooted in the Word of God who in turn raise up disciples.

  • ELDER BART RANDOLPH

Bart has been married to his wife, Toni, for thirty-four years and they have been blessed with four children (Deaven, Christian, Noah and Naomi), two granddaughters (Tenley and Elbereth), and three daughters-in-law (Heather, Taylor, and Rhea).  Bart and Toni are humbled to be a part of the Body of Christ commissioned with spreading the gospel message. Bart's desire is to contend earnestly for the faith (Jude 3) and to watch over the souls entrusted to his care as elder, teacher, prayer ministry leader, and Life Group leader.  He considers it a blessing to call Waypoint Christian Church home, and his hope is that we all grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

  • elder richard

Before moving to Landstuhl, Germany, Richard and his wife Kimberly lived in Sigonella, Italy.  They have three amazing children. Richard currently serves as the principal at Smith Elementary School.

2 Corinthians 9:11

"You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, AND through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."

As believers, our desire is to fully trust God in every area of our lives--including our finances.  We know that our giving goes to further the kingdom of God and produces in us a heart of thanksgiving as stated in His Word:

how to give

We are an independent Christian church that is not affiliated with the U.S. Armed Services or Department of Defense.  Therefore, we do not receive funding from sources outside our church family. The people who call Waypoint Christian Church their church home are the ones who give joyfully and generously to support the ministry of this church.  That's one of the marks of our church...generosity! Every member at Waypoint has made a commitment to give regularly to this ministry as an expression of their love for God and to remind ourselves that everything we have comes from Him and belongs to Him.  The Bible says that giving helps us put God's kingdom work first in our lives and finances.
